Saturday and Sunday, 9 and 10 Days After Surgery

I go to a soccer tournament to watch Matthew play on Saturday and Sunday. I spend hours standing, with the immobilizer. My knee really throbs, but it is a good pain.

I play guitar for the praise and worship team. Have to take off the immobilizer to sit on a stool while I play. It feels good to be back.

I do not do my entire repertoire of home PT exercises on Saturday, and do nothing on Sunday. That is very bad. I can tell the difference. My mobility diminishes, and I do not feel as strong.

Not even taking regular doses of Tylenol, Motrin or Aleve. I decide to sleep with my hinged brace at night. It feels good to be able to bend the knee a little at night.
