Wednesday, 6 Days After Surgery Go to work with the immobilizer wearing shorts. Sitting is a hassle. Get lots of welcome backs from everybody. Get some comments on my exposed legs (mostly nice!). My leg is throbbing by noon, and I am tired and ready to go. PT that afternoon goes well, and I get 95 degrees myself, 110 degrees with assistance. Dr. Slagle’s expects 120 degrees at 6 weeks. I am very excited about this. My Physical Therapist Jason tells me of a guy that had the same surgery, on his knee the same day I did. It is his SECOND one. He did this 8 weeks after his first. Jason tells me this guy keeps asking how I am doing. Wants to get a little competition going. Cool. |
