Three Weeks Before Surgery

My wife then tells me that my sister-in-law (her sister) and her husband and their seven children (yes – 7 children) are beginning their stay with us. They have sold their house and moved from Minnesota to Pennsylvania. My in-laws live in a retirement community and can only have visitors for two weeks. We knew they were coming, but she just did the math and they arrive the day before my surgery.

Argh!

Not that I have anything against them. They are nice people. And their children are as good as it gets with kids (although 7 kids are 7 kids). It’s just in time of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt), you like to circle the wagons, not increase the homestead.
